RUST LTD
When it came to announce our first new VR game in a decade, I was told there was only one man I should consider for making our announce trailer. That rec couldn’t have been more spot on. Demo brings a physicality to his work that’s like nothing else. He makes VR video look like what playing VR feels like in your head. Genuine action star performance. We had a scary tight time frame, and he truly rescued us. The speed at which he picked up our game, learned to make it sing, delivered a vision, and iterated with us to find the exact tone we were looking for was simply exceptional. I couldn’t have asked for more.
Demo Akuro captured the intensity and atmosphere of Exoshock in a way that instantly resonated with our community. His trailer didn’t just showcase gameplay — it told the story of what makes our sci-fi co-op shooter unique. The pacing, visuals, and sound design combined into something as cinematic as it is immersive. Demo has a rare ability to translate the feeling of VR into excitement that grabs players before they even step into the headset. I highly recommend him for both his instinct for our project and the passion he puts into his work.

A game can only go so far without the right marketing material and hiring Demo to convey and bring forth to the audience what Tactical Assault VR is about was one of the best decisions I made.
Demo’s work for Tactical Assault VR reached over 400k views on TikTok alone with an extremely high sales conversion rate. For a no-name solodeveloper and indie game to get that kind of pull is insane and there’s no doubt in my mind that it was because of Demo’s vision, style and professionalism.
Working with Demo was an extremely easy process. Communication was constantly flowing during pre-production, production and post. He made it very clear what he saw in the game and was able to pick and choose the game’s strongest points that would hit hardest with the audience.
I never once had to worry about the production side of the project as I am too focused on development for the game. Demo handled ALL of that and it made my job so much easier.
The quality of the end product surpassed my expectations and I will definitely be hiring him again!

Making VR gaming trailers is very different from regular flat screen trailers. There’s all kinds of new immersive mechanics that come with most VR games, and it can be really difficult to showcase all of that in a trailer. But Demo is a true VR first gamer that really understands the platform and can make trailers like nobody else. There’s not a single agency or person that will make a better VR gaming trailer than Demo. He’s made two trailers for us, and each project was a very easy process for us that resulted in amazing video content that perfectly showcases our game better than we ever dreamed of.

Working with Demo Akuro on the Hard Bullet trailer was smooth from start to finish. The result hit exactly what we were aiming for — showcasing the game’s features the way we wanted, while also bringing something fresh and unique to the table. That’s not easy to do, especially in a community where tons of incredible fan content is released daily. Demo managed to level things up and add a new angle to how Hard Bullet is presented and the game ended up featured on Meta’s front page. If you’re thinking about working with him and his team — go for it. Totally worth it.

This is the second time we’ve worked with Demo. He has a good eye for strong aesthetics and capturing great moments from games. If you are looking for a creative video trailer director who can find scenes from your game you didn’t even know existed, Demo is the guy.”
